While Melbourne's summer weather hasn't been super summery so far, it's been a lot of fun shooting local cricket with the Forest Hill Cricket Club. Thanks to Josh, Ryan and all the players and officials for the warm welcome. I've been able to get along to shoot 3 of the teams so far, both in one day and two day competitions. Hopefully as our weather picks up after Christmas there will be more opportunities to see Forest Hill in action.

Forest Hill's home ground is a good size (not too big!) and offers opportunities to shoot both from ground level and from some elevated areas.

And being both a cricket tragic, and one who likes some abstract images, cricket is a great sport to photograph. While I admit to be a cricket traditionalist, the coloured clothing can add to the impact of the images.
