Thanks to Ice Skating Victoria for having me (and the Melbourne Sports Photography team) along to the ANZAS Ice Skating Championships again in 2026. The event is held every 2 years and features the best adult ice skaters across Australia and New Zealand. This year it was notable that there were also skaters from USA and Italy as well.

Held over 3 days at the O'Brien Icehouse, it was great to see the skaters performing well, supporting each other, and enjoying themselves.

For a short time on the Saturday of the competition, my colleague Kia was photographing next to the ice - which allowed me to shoot these multiple exposures from the grand stand.

Multiple exposures work well for ice skating given the plain white background provided by the ice.

MelbourneSportsPhotographer2026-4939 Thank you again to Ice Skating Victoria for having me and the Melbourne Sports Photography team along. Congratulations on a great event.
